• Policy on Parent Participation

We believe that a child’s education is the primary responsibility of parents.  The school supports the development of the child by becoming their second home. We integrate families as part of the class life.  When the child’s environment is positive, we nurture socially adjusted, emotionally stable, mentally alert and God loving children.

Brain Gym is a program that accesses and unlocks potentials by tapping the body intelligence. It offers 26 quick, easy and fun movements that can address specific learning blocks. Continued and regular use of the movements leads to optimum performance in ALL areas.

Dr. Paul Dennison, an educational therapist from Ventura, California, designed the program. It was originally intended for children with learning concerns but is now used worldwide in many countries by both children and adults.

Why and how does Brain Gym work?

• The movements encourage the growth of nerve cell extensions and networking of these extensions. This is believed to enhance intelligence.

• The movements eliminate stress by relaxing the body and the mind. Less stress, more functionality of the brain.

• The movements heighten self-awareness that in turn allows one to learn effectively from his/her experiences.

• The movements enhance the balanced state of mind, emotions and attitudes, through which a person can assimilate his experiences in a positive and productive way.

Brain Gym Education

The program is not in conflict with any educational program; it actually supports them by making the child ready and open to learning. Studies prove that children with learning challenges are significantly improved and benefited by the movements.

Little Children School uses Brain Gym in close coordination and monitoring with Anima Christi Center, the official Brain Gym center in the Philippines.
